Parsi Kheema

On a recent visit to the US of A, I went to an Indian restaurant in Berkeley, California. There was everything from plump, spicy samosas to bhel and pani-puri to ragda pattis and other mouth-watering snacks. The speciality of the day was however ‘Parsi Kheema’, and I was happy to see this. Good to know that Parsi food is alive in the US. hehe…

  1. Oh yes it is! Recently got a book World Vegetarian by Madhur Jaffrey, primarily written for the American. And there she writes about the Parsi caramelised rice ( oh how nostalgic that was…hmm, can already smell Dinkoo aunty’s dhanshak..)
