While doing this project, I realised something that had never occured to me earlier. I used to think that a design project had a specific process. You would do step A, then B, so on and so forth. But I have learnt (the hard way!) that this is almost never the case. Each project is unique, and design is such a thing, you may have to do step Z, then H, then B, and go back to Z ten times on the way.
The Parsi Project was a validation of this experience, that sometimes, a major part of your design process is actually designing your process. The process is new and unique most times, and the decisions taken along the way affect the design a lot. For example, how much research you do, and whether you start the designing alongside the research, etc etc. And perhaps if you did more research, your output would be very different.
